Great to hear Ernie...I ended up with one of Ben's stock modded as I just was not gonna run the SQ again. Just wont fly up here, as its a screamer when on the flipper.Again the hurricane quiet can is the answer we have all been waiting for quiet stock sounding that’s makes great power. Love mine.
I hope to see you this winter in NB to compare the sound of yours to mine.

I only say that about the SQ cause I ran it on my cat(and liked it alot) and alot on Toms SW last winter, and when running to the bar, that baby makes some sound. As it should. Its a very open flow muffler as you know. Makes great power too. But I just am so over the loud sleds these days..lol.
It sure seems like we have great quiet solutions now that wont even attract the cops up here, so I just wanted to go that route this time.

Wow, that is QUIET! Like stock for sure. At that speed and throttle position other mufflers are SCREAMING with a massive deep tone, but the stock like modded mufflers dont have that at all...great video, where is that anyway?120 mph fly by with my sled
I see seguin trail is open now on guide!

Wow fantastic! Im dying to get out. Im sorta landlocked at moment here with more snow needed, but this cold has set up my lake and Im going to start checking thickness in next day or two....It will for sure be rideable by end of week as cold temps calling for all week and there is NO snow on lake now to insulate. So I think we will get out the stalker and get all the boys over here quite soon on the gun. Would be interesting to see what my bone stocker will run, but I need to get my studs in now!North bay in our secret little hideaway lol and by the way loses no power from the Hindle can on 280 tune
Just love that muffler. Dave did an amazing job with that. And you get to keep your stocker stock!

If you are running it ...you dont need to convince me! I know you are about as picky as it gets....and research to the nines...
they say imitation is the best form of flattery ; )
Steve give it a rest I’ve been out testing every weekend driving 3-4 hours each way on the same day way to test tunes and exhaust clutching and there is no denying the power of the Hurricane quiet can and tune head and tails faster if you don’t believe it I will be glad to show you first hand. Get off the keyboard and ride I’ve got over 500 miles on my sled so far how many do you have????If you are running it ...you dont need to convince me! I just got done riding my new loud exhaust a couple days ago...
who said anything about faster???????
who cares who has what miles????????
I'm now becoming interested in a quiet(er) exhaust and actually like what dave has brought to the table...but that said...I think Dan's choice might be better...it looks more stock because well it is...and I kinda think from what Ive heard it might be quieter...and for sure it seems cheaper?
but they are BOTH are good options like Dan said...
Keep up the hard work Ernie...and the rest of you... all tireless testers and tuners....we all appreciate the efforts...
Have a Merry Christmas...

Trail sled vs Trail sled. A guy like you with attention to detail is killer on the trail. It's just not fair for the average Joe.
You can swing by the lake anytime, just let me know what you want to race and what the terms are. It could be fun, I'm sure your sled goes very good.
BTW the reports I get near Prescott the races on the lake are going td both weekends so I hear.
That's customers vs customers and Dave was even there in person to help his guy.

The guy I rode and raced with yesterday’s is a close personal friend that I told To buy your tunes your super quiet and in fact I gave him my clutching and still no contest maybe he can contact you for some more help. My clutching gave him 3 mph and. A lot of sled lengths from his original setup. Not trying to disrespect just a little disappointed.Trail sled vs Trail sled.
