Whats the difference between a manifold and header?
If i´m going to throw my shitty header in the garbage can and pay the big money for a new one, at least i want to make the best choise of it.

Not sure if there's a hindle option for you but it's what I have and it's nice, talk to Dave at hurricane he will know the best choice for that sled or Ulmer.
Manifold is where all the exhaust is collected together, all share the same path to the turbo in your case. A header is were each cylinder has its own path to the turbo. I see that you have a mcx kit. Something wrong with it? Not sure of anybody making a flange for the turbo they run, or you putting a Garrett turbo on? Then you will have alot more choices.
I have a Garrett T28R instead of the schwitzer turbo that came with the Mcx kit. But they do have the same flange as well...
I tried mcx and cpr, but they are like.... 10 years old.
I just dont know if i should go for the nice looking manifold by MrX, or the new header by MrX 2.
They both look very nice, same price...
Can you say that a manifold is a littlebit stronger than a header, but has some lack of power instead?

Not sure who mr x is? Pm Ted Jannetty on here. He is a site sponsor, builds a very nice exhaust manifold for the RX1. Another choice is an impulse header, but thats a big can of worms that you dont want to open unless you have nothing better to do. I went that route, never again. Way too much work. If you look in the garage section, I have build up of my sled with an impulse header.

If you're looking for something that puts out max hp you'll need to stay with some kind of header. The biggest problem is they seem to crack and have to be rewelded. I'm on my fourth one since 03 so if that's your problem I know where you're coming from. I just built this one this winter and I've had to jet up from 135 to 150 because it is more efficient.
