Headlight Cover Problems

I cant seem to get the headlight cover back on. I cant get the rubber peices on the cover to fit back into the holes. I was wondering if there is a trick to this or what. Thanks

Remove the rubber pieces from the cover, fit those pieces into the holes then install the cover.

Yeah its a royal pain, but after you've done it a few times
it gets easier... oh yeah make sure the plastic is warmed up.

I filed the top sharp edges rounder so it would pull out of the rubber easier. Still holds tight and no hassle like your issue.

little tricky putting back in, take the rubber grommets out, place them back into the main headlight area and then re-attach

Make sure the rubber peices aren't upside down. I struggled with them for 30 minutes just to find I was doing it upside down. The smaller side is the bottom.

Put a little grease on the inside of the grommets. It makes sliding the tabs in and out much easier.
