I just got my mountaintech cooler installed on my 121. I just ran the sled for 25 minutes on the stand (air temp 33f) it took a while to heat up to 200 on the Daytona temp guage but when it did the fan kicked on and it cooled down to 188.1 and stayed there till the fan shut off. I think I could have left it running for a while longer and it would stayed in that range of temp. Only mod I did was rebrand the rear bracket so it mounted a litter higher in the tunnel (not that I needed to I just had the room to). All in all another great mod for these sleds.

Heat exchanger
Question: why, after spending $12,000 dollars on a new sled from Yamaha, should I have to purchase and install an auxiliary heat exchanger? Shouldn't Yamaha install these at the factory?
