Anyone try these with any success???

I just got my last week, the pro series in blue/black. All the riding that I've done since putting them on has been on slower trail systems through fields, etc. and I didn't really notice that much of a difference. I'm also using the handlebar mod. I think you will/would notice it more if you're running railroad grades where you can open it up a little more.

Another guy that I ride with also has them installed on his Apex and he says they work well for him. He's running an 07 with 07 handlebars without any mods and he wears thin gloves and says he doesn't use his handwarmers very much.

If you do order a set from a distributor that doesn't have them in stock, be prepared to wait. I ordered mine on Dec 13th and received them on Feb 9th. I talked to a factory rep prior to receiving mine and the way they explained it, the company doubled their production and workforce only to see orders go up by 400%. They apparently can't keep up.

Can someone post a pics with these installed. Are they much different than all the other ones you see on the market? All the ones i have tried will hit the windsheild when you turn the handlebars full lock.
Thanks

Don't have any pics, but the Skinz handguards are flexible and will not be an issue if they come in contact with the windshield.

I can take some pics of mine later today, but here is a link to some pictures that Paul (Sled Solutions) sent to me:

I have a mid height windshield on my Apex, which is actually the stock windshield on the 08 Vector GT, and the hand guards just touch when making a full turn - but it doesn't flex the windshield or the hand guards.

They work pretty good. In cold negative temps with the 07 bars your hands are still cold. Other then that they seem to do a good job keeping the wind off your hands. Hardly any interference with the controls or sliding your hands on the bars.

I have used gauntlets on my sleds since the early 80's. So far these are the best I have had that allow easy acsess to controls and no problem with giving hand signals. I have excellant heaters so can't say what they might be like without good heat.

I have them on my apex and love them. They come on and off in less than a minute and are soft so they dont hurt the windshield.

I tried to order a couple of pairs, but they just weren't available. As it turns out, the Cobra windshield I bought to replace the OEM medium on my 07 Apex got all the wind off my hands and I don't need the Skinz anymore.

I thought my hand warmers sucked on my 07. With that different windshield on, I have to run them at two bars or they're too hot.
