How is everyone setting up your heated shields ? I don't know why they didn't put a heated shield plug right on the sled

Right hand side by oil tank there is a acc plug. Just goto a auto store and get a two prong trailer adapter. Then splice in shield cord.
Mine came with a ac plug in right to the left of the display. Just went and picked up a Cat adaptor and all is good.

I ran mine to the battery. Found the plug by the chain case but was worried about the heat off muffler and pipe. Once the seat is off I just followed the loom all the way up. Anyone notice the plastic bellow the gas cap have a sharp edge? Mine was rubbing on the seat. I think it will cut it so I put a strip of paint protection film on it. Hope this helps.
