He had asked if it takes the place of the front skid plate and stated that it is a replacement for the stock panel. The plate is a thicker heavy duty panel for better protection.
Do you think it would be sufficient getting this over a skid plate?

Do you think it would be sufficient getting this over a skid plate?
A full skid plate will offer more sufficient protection of the entire underside. This plate is meant to be an upgrade to the stock access panel for those that don't want a full skid plate.

Got mine on and fits perfect and looks great! 
Now, if I would have had it on before I went to Colorado....I don't think I would have caught the aluminum by the heat exchanger as bad as I did.
Definitely thicker than the stock one, the fit is awesome and now I have a little extra protection.... Thank you Travis!!!!

You will see mine this weekend and how thick it is. Definitely better than the cheap thin piece. And the price....you can't beat it
