Got complaints from guys following my Nytro last year because the brake/tail light got covered over with snow all the time. Short of a fix for that wondered if any one has used a helmet mounted LED stop light.

Here's one I've been considering:

You can also google "helmet motorcycle brake light" and find a few others.

My helmet has a led strip built in that flashes continuously.

If you just ride faster they won't be right behind you to even see the light.

My brother has one in his Bv2 helmet and it worked great. I went out and bought stickers that glow, but it does not work as good. The light really helps my eyes out on the nights when its snowing real hard.

Sounds a bit goofy but I guess safety should take precedent over looks. Eh it may also help to locate guys who fall off and end up in a snow drift!gade-thrasher said:Yamirydr said:Got complaints from guys following my Nytro last year because the brake/tail light got covered over with snow all the time. Bud of mine has one in his helmet, works great. Only problem is that it is so bright, that you see the light far ahead and you assume it is a straight path between you and the light , meanwhile there may be a rock or a few trees to go around first before you catch-up to the light.

I frequently ride behind a buddy who also has the BVS helmet Riding in broad daylight the spin drift/snow dust will completely obliterate him. But I can always see his red LED on the back of his helmet.

I have a BVS too. Can you rig that light to just work as a brake light?
