Hi,

I have start my rx-1 to be ready tomorrow morning, he was in summer mode.

But when i want it to rev, the motor rev and bwop bwop bwop rev down and bwop bwop rev up but real slowly since 6500 rpm.

it is the carbu that was dirty ?

do you have a in for me, because right now i saw my first ride going without me :o| :o| :o|

thanks

i would start with trying to clean the carbs....they are very sensitive to gumming up........Hey Tundra, t'es chanceux!...combiens de centimetres de neige hier?...je veux prendre mon premier voyage de la saison dans ton coin le debut de decembre ;)!

En ville 10 cm, mais sur les Monts-valin y a presque 2 pieds, ET il neige toujours

.In town 10 cm, but on the Monts-valin, there about 2 feets, and its not over

thanks

Did you take all the old gas out of your tank and carbs ?You have to take apart your carbs and clean them out . ;)! Also take a look at your gas filters in the tank. LaLaLa

Siphon old fuel out of tank and re-fill with fresh gas. Add a can of carb cleaner.
- if you decide to take carbs apart to clean them, do the fuel pumps too.

My dealer says that these are worse that the 2 strokes. Really should run them dry at the end of the season. Right at the ends of the carbs once you remove the air box are the little drain screws to get the very last of the fuel out

I had trouble with my sled running like that the first season I had it, when it was like a couple weeks old. It idled fine, but wouldn't rev up, and it would make the same popping sounds you described. It turned out to be a tiny bit of ice in the throttle pivot on the bars. There is a sensor that won't let the sled rev up if it doesn't sense that the throttle lever is being pushed in, and the ice kept that sensor from reading. I doubt you have ice in yours, but it may have something to do with that sensor. Not the most likely problem, but a possibility.

thanks guy

it seem that my trouble came from my throttle cable, he was too short because i put a riser, i put the new cable, and the sled run fine.

 i'm gone sledding

Cheers to you for getting out there on the snow. It will probably be another month here before there is enough snow.

When one has a problem, you should allways think of what you did last that could have caused the problem. Doesn't allways work, but a good place to start.

;)!

look that baby

Today, and my sled finally run Fine. She take a lot more fuel than she supposed, but, ;)!

We ride for about 130 km, just before running out of gaz :D
