Oh man...you tease...we've only had just enough to mostly hide the grass for a day, then it was gone. I just got the gutted exhaust put on that I bought, and its great...I can't wait to hear it on the trail under a load! Damn we need snow...

Tundra,

How long a drive is it from Quebec City to where you are?

Are there lots of trails that you can ride or are you limited to a few small areas (I assume the trails aren't officially open)?

I don't know if it would be worth the drive, but...

approx 3 1/2 hours from quebec city (off the trailer)

Unlimited Riding area. And yes trail aren't open yet, but i think they will open a the end of november. But at this time, temp is unsure, it may rain all week, but fortunatly forecast said snow.

The best is to wait another 2 weeks, time for snow to set-up, because, rock are bad at this time of year.

Last year, same date, story was different, 3 feets of snow in one shot.

this pic was one of last year 10 november 03

Good point , i will check that, since i have raise my handlebar, this should be possible.

thanks.

Is a miss aligment of carb can do that also, because, last spring, my sled fell from my truck when he flip (roll) on the side on a icy, snowy, and fuc..ng road. ?

That shouldn't have been enough to do anything. My sled flipped over and over at 90+ mph and it started right up with no damage under the hood. Boy the frame is strong on these things!!!

lol. The instrument cluster blew apart...my GPS and the speedo was found about 100 feet from the sled. Windshield was fine, but I had to replace the hood (thats why the new one is black), dash assembly, repair the headlight pod, straighten the bars, and I'm still looking for a used bumper. It was a big ouch. Link to a pic of the old hood is below. But it fired right up once we flipped it back over, and we did another 70 miles that day with me cringing on every bump from sore ribs and a hurt wrist.

I was riding with 3 buddies who ride HARD, and we came to a field. I was in the rear while going through the single track trails, so I figured I owuld get ahead of the pack through the field. Nice groomed trail, but it was kind of warm so the air was kind of overcast, so the field looked glass smooth...but wasn't. I was doing around 90, coming up on my firneds (who were going almost as fast), and saw the guy in front of me do a bit of a hop up in the air. I only had just about enough time to thing damn, this is going to hurt, and decide I better stay on the throttle instead of letting off and taking a chance on coming down on the skis and endoing. So I hit the bump and flew up big-time, with the skis going high and I began thinking I was going over backward, and I had a quick glimpse of a thought of what it would feel like to come down with a 1-ton on top of me...lol. Next thing I knew the rear bumper touched down hard, slamming the front of the sled down. I was hanging on trying to ride it out, but I was off ballance by then and I got spit off the sled. The sled bounced back up and the skis caught, causing it to flip end for end, and after about a flip and a half or two, it had twisted and began barel rolling a couple times. One guy who saw the whole thing said he thought I was dead and that the sled rolled like 4 times total. I was laying in the snow still making sure I wasn't dead or worse, and making sure I still had all of my limbs, when the gyy who saw it happen got to me. I hadn't seen the sled, but my first words to him went somethign like "I don't want to see my sled, do I?" He said "Nope, you sure don't". We all thought it was totalled. Thank god for that rugged chassis!!! I was able to secure the windshield and finish riding the rest of the season without making repairs, and waited until the beginning of last year to buy a hood and dash parts. This is one rugged sled!!!
