I have a question about the lower control arms on the phazers. Mine is a 2012 and I wanted to upgrade the lower arms so we can install the larger Schmitt brothers sway bar. Question is I found a guy that has a 09 RTX that he is parting out and was wondering what the difference is part number are the same but one letter. What is the difference? 8GN-23570-C0-00 for the 12 and 8GN-23570-A0-00 for the 09. Can anyone help me please. Thanks guys Rob

odds are it might only be a colour change. my 09 rtx/x had orange a arms from factory. i covered them with black spray on boxliner.

Phazers have 3 lower arms avalible, the MTX (shorter+ dog bone), The FX,RTX,base,XTX (dogbone) and the GT (Adjustable swaybar with plastic clams)
Only other differences are Color, and possibly an updated Ball joint.

I was thinking about going with the SB sway bar on one of my GT's but decided against it after some testing. With the GT bar mounted all the way forward (stiffest setting) I only noticed a very minimal affect on how tippy it felt. I did however notice a rather negative affect on ride quality on rough, uneven terrain. On groomed trails it seemed OK but going through uneven bumps would cause the chassis to rock side to side excessively. This made it much more difficult to hang on to the handlebars as they felt like they were being ripped from my hands upon impact. The stiff bar setting takes away too much of the skis independent action in rough terrain for my liking. The SB bar would only make it worse.
Cranking the skis springs to near there loosest setting to lower the front end helped the most. This effectively lowers the center of gravity and helps with cornering. I noticed in the pic of your that the front end is cranked all the way up.

When sled is in the air I have zero preload on shocks springs. I did not realize you could go even less on them. I always thought zero preload and then adjust from there. I can spin the springs easily. Or am I wrong on that?I was thinking about going with the SB sway bar on one of my GT's but decided against it after some testing. Ah... I guess I couldn't see clearly where your spring adjusters were at, I had to compare to pics of mine. Just touching the springs when unloaded is correct.
