Ok, have changed tracks before but had a couple of buddies trying to help and I can remember every part that came off and where it goes but a collar/spacer was in the parts bucket and I don't remember where it came from, I have assembled the thing 4 times now and double checked and can not find where it came from, I'll blame it on one of my buddies for taking it from somewhere but hell I can;t figure it out!!

Ok it didn't have gear oil on it , clean but a little powder dust in it, everything goes on as it should but the only thing i could notice is that the speedo gear on clutch side was in further than it should be. I am stumped, looked at the parts diagrams and nothing looks out of place, I'll attach a couple of pics, hopefully somebody can tell me where it goes!! I thought maybe it goes on the driver shaft but the oil seal were still on the shaft and never took them off?????????????????

tried both things, spacers on suspension are white plastic, and there is no room on the shaft after the collar with set screw then disk is put on, thanks for the help

Did you look at the parts Fiche? Looks like the spacer that goes behind the top gear, or maybe the one that goes behind the bearing in the oil seal? Or the spacer on the driver shaft that goes into the oil seal behind the bearing.

What sled is this on?

found it

it was the spacer for the disk brake on the inside, it is not on the parts diagram though. only the collar that goes into the oil seal is on there! Anyway , glad to find it

thanks for the help guys

Sorry, I should have been clearer; that's what I was thinking.
