Help with 2015 rtx dx suspension

You have to get that front end to plant. DX is real close on rear rebound stock. Have you tried mid setting on torsions? A-arms straight across(ski shock preload) and most important have you found the sweet spot for front skid shock spring? It is a 2 thread range. 1 thread tighter and it will carry skis for a 1/4mi or more under power. 1 thread looser and the skis will not lift whatever you do short of jumping. Find that spot and you will be happy.

When it comes to the sled being tippy, look at how your skis are mounted to the spindles. All 3 sleds my family has came from the dealer set with the skis in the narrow position. The plastic spacer should be on the outside of the spindle to push the skis out as far as possible.

Both of ours are in the narrow position too. I had not changed them to the wider position because 2 reasons: 1- I didn't think they would fit on my trailer, (although it is 101 inches wide)

And 2- I didn't know it would make much difference.

How much wider does this Make the sled? And do most of you do this?

As always, thanks for all your help

1 inch and yes most are set wide. They fit 101 trailer easy unless aftermarket skis.

both sleds were set up this way

What would be the result if I loosened the front ski shocks a little more? What does too loose do verses too tight?

Well eventually it will push or bottom. You do want them as soft as possible though. Just need to find where you are too soft.

Right now my front shocks have about two inches of thread visible beneath adjuster. If I support skis with a little effort I can spin spring

Can anyone tell me how much thread shows on the front track shock when it comes from factory?

I can't remember. Too much usually. Get the skid off the ground and loosen it until it's loose enough to rattle and then give it a turn or or two to make sure it's not too lose that the spring retainer could pop out when unloaded. Now ride it and see what you like. Add more preload if needed. You should be happy with minimal preload.
You can adjust the ski shocks also. I usually start the same way with minimal preload and ride and increase preload as needed.

I moved skis out to the wide setting. Have to wait for snow now to try it out. It gave me about an inch. I guess every bit helps. The sled turns okay now, don't have to put so much effort into it. Just want to solve the inside ski lift issue now.
