It started up for about 5-7 seconds, then bogged down to under 1000 rpm's then died. Tried to start it again and no joy. Tried to give some throttle and start and no joy. It sounds like it wants to fire but just won't.

It was around 0 here last night. . .and my sled was parked in a nose down condition, just fyi

Am I missing something? What can I do?

Yeah, could here the fuel pump. I called dealer, he said it was prob a frozen fuel line. Took the wifes hair dryer and 5 minutes later she was running. 1st time I was happy to here that damn hair dryer!

same thing happend to a buddy of mine up north of moonbeam on, killed his battery, so we had to hook up a charger to the genarater, let some de-icer sit in the fuel for a while and it started right up! i always run de-icer kleen-flo part number 409 it is safe for fuel injectors, small enough to fit a few in the trunk and one will do 2 full sleds

Funny, my loader/excavator did the same thing today, but it wasn't ice, it was air. I put new fuel filters on it, started it, and it died 10 seconds later. Diesel = not fun. Took me 2 hours to bleed the lines.

But yeah, the 10 second problem is the universal signal that there's a fuel delivery problem.

Had the same symptoms on Friday morning in a 2007 Attak. I ended up draining the battery and had to jump it from my RX1.

It always sounded like it wanted to fire and start. I ended up holding the throttle wide open and then it started. Ran a bit cranky for about 20 seconds and then was idleing fine.
