If you see exhaust residue (blackness) on your heat shield, inspect the header closely. Even this updated header I took the tig welder to as I did not like the look of some of the welds.

I blew 2 headers apart on my S/C Nytro, early on, then went to a aftermarket (MBRP) and no problems after that, it was made much heavier.
