My sled came with HIDs (not sure which brand) 1 bulb went out yesterday-
Do both of them do high / low? From what I could tell only 1 stayed on low. if you push the button I can see the some dim light on the "blown" one flipping between filaments?
If 1 bulb goes should I replace both anyways?
How do you check for a bad ballast?
Thanks for any info

If it is the bulb you might want change both to ensure the colour is the same. They are both Hi/Lo bulbs. The easiest way to check the ballast is to swap the bulbs/lights around.

I unloaded it from the trailer this afternoon & both bulbs were on and working, will take a closer look tomorrow during a thaw out.

Sometimes you will only get one to fire... then you will have to restart the sled... its happens.

They'd both worked all day & when we left our last stop for grub were on as I cleared the powder off it.
only 8 miles back to the truck, was out.
