has anybody tried these boots or own them?? what do you think of them??

I've tried them on and have friends who wear Highmark boots. To me they are way too rigid. Great ankle support if you ride hard and jump high. The guys I know are mountain riders and do lots of hardcore stuff justifying the support. My riding is mostly haulin butt on rivers and trails with a little off trail and small air occasionally. I've spent the last two weeks searching for the perfect boot for my riding style the one I'm going with is the Sorel Alpha Trac buckle, they have a similar version with laces and rollers. They both run about $140 and give good support with some flexibility to walk in. If you like the rigidness of the HMK try a pair of Klims. Very comparable boot and you can the the "Klimates" for $89.99.
thnx for the info, i like the klim radium and i think i will go with those. where are you buying yours from?? i found them at esnowclothing.com for $146 US

Have you checked out the new Klim boots, the Adrenalin GTX's ! They are supposed to be the bomb. Klim USA is running out of them fast, if not already.
