HyGear rear coil over shock for Apex & Vectors 2016-2018

In my experience even a single 46mm shock will fade when pushed if it’s a non reservoir unit.

i have a 2016 xtx
200 miles on my hygear and only 4 clicks on knob so i cant adjust it should have 12 or more ??
then knob fell off missing screw and knob
they sent a new knob but still only has 4 clicks
kinda stiff but i cant adjust it
i rode it till end of year and will remove it and send it in
they said they would warranty it but my email said it got damaged somehow
so i will let you all know how this high dollar shock goes for warranty
i still like the idea of not getting a flat on my sled with the spring shock

partzilla has the 2018 updated air shock for 400.00 i would just do that next time

Yes, hard riding will fade the 46mm non rezi. That's why it should be considered the bare minimum for this beast of an application. The rear exhaust + the snow/ice build up doesn't help. I wonder if we could add a center shock to the front arm?.... lol!

What is the sense of buying NEW updated fox shocks when they only last 300-400 miles. I am on my 4th. shock now.

I put one in my wife's vector from day one, she never even rode it with the factory air shock in it. She absolutely loves how the sled rides. I have ridden it for short distances several times and have found that it rides very well. I wouldn't hesitate one bit buying it again, my opinion is that the single shot was actually a very good suspension for how simple it is, it just had a horrible shock in it. She previously had an '08 vector with the mono skid in it and says that this is night and day better than that was. If you have any other questions or want pictures of the setup I will gladly get them for you.
Could you send me some pictures of your new set-up with the hygear shock installed & any tricks on the installation, thank's Rich

What would you like to know, and what would you like pictures of. The only part that's a bit tricky is the bogey wheel relocation, they really didn't have an exact location for them.

Pictures of the boggy wheel relocation & the distance from the outer wheel bolt shaft to the new hole for the boggy wheel relocation.

Keep in mind that if you're installing the Hygear replacement shock for the Single Shot but are putting it on an XTX, the boggy wheel relocation WIRtx mentions is not needed; it's optional:

Although I don't run the Hygear coil over shock on my XTX...yet, I did end up purchasing their wheel relocation kit. On the XTX, their wheel relocation kit is used to replace the stock setup that uses a cross-shaft and collars with set screws that would constantly spin on the shaft.

This is for a 129 suspension

I love the Hygear coil over. I was one of the first to use one and it's still going strong. I think it's the best hardware and design going.
