Well it would also depend on noise. Some of those smaller ones are nice cause you can adjust the chai case without taking the exhaust off. MPI has a exhaust the same one I have with my turbo and it's really quiet and much better flow than stock and lighter. But for me where I live noise is a big deal. And we get puller over a lot so I'm good with quiet.

We have the hurricane hindle full power kit instock. This kit is unique in that it comes with mid pipes that will use a hindle muffler or a stock muffler in the same kit. The full exhaust complete with air box mod and Pcv makes 17hp

Will this change that much over stock? The stock Viper needs a lot more than 17 hp to even compete with 600 class sleds!

Re: 600
I rode a stock Viper today and yes very quick to 75-80, but not much after. Now my wife's Vector has beat all the new 600 class sled in a mile run. Give or take a few feet. I would bet that my wife's stock Vector with the same motor would beat a Viper in a 1/4 mile. I just wish Yamaha would of used there ECU!

The viper will eat 600 class sleds stock. Give it 17 more hp and it gets much more competitive with 800's.

Man I sure hope so! I just didn't feel like it was that fast. But I was not racing anyone. So nothing feels as fast until you race someone. I didn't mean to upset anyone. Just think we should get more! 17hp can't hurt! I did all those upgrades to my Nytro and it flat flyed for a non turbo sled! I could keep up with any 800. Unless highly modified.
I have the Osp can. Build quality is top notch. It is pretty damn loud though...but sounds mean!

Tim no offense taken and I know what you are saying. The viper just does not seem to have the jam like the nytro does. The power delivery is just a bit different.

Good!! Cause I like this Viper! And I just wish I could buy a stock sled and have it fast, and handle good and jump good. I guess I'm asking to much...lol...
I have spent way to much money trying to make a 600 class sled into a 800+ class sled. Maybe I'm just hard to please! I want something that will haul through the trails and just shoot out of the corners and straights! I think that this is probably the best looking sled out and handles Rival the best of um! I just want a sled that is stock and that way! I don't want to keep spending tons of money every two years. So maybe I'm looking in the wrong place??

You and me both. I really like this sled. I just wish it had the power stock and not have to dump 6 grand into it to make it go like it should. With 190 hp it feels just right and very manageable.
Like you I am getting tired of buying a sled and having to put all this coin into it when my buddies buy a stock sled and just ride it. I had to pay an extra 6 grand to go where they go. Only plus side is that I am always there to tow home... but the other brands are getting really reliable these days too so my towing service is not going so well these days.
