I have a 2010 Nytro MTX 153 (non SE) that is hitting the rev limiter with out much effort. Only change id a Yosi slip on under tunnel set-up. Clutching is stock. How do I get the revs down. Less twist on the secondary or what? is there a better helix I should be looking for? Weight? Primary/secondary springs? Thanks in advance.

Yamarider:
MTX out of the box is geared for 6-8000 feet, but there is a stock setup from Yami for low altitiude, called the sea level kit. Being in NH, if your sled doesn't have it, it will over rev all the time.
The sea level kit from Yami has 22/40 gearing (vs 18/40), and a new primary spring and clutch weights. Secondary spring is the same. Here is the link with a picture of what was installed in mine (2011 MTX). Worked great.

I have some gears from my RX Warrior kicking around here. Do the top gears interchange between the two sleds? I also just ordered some adjustable weights from Bender. I went the the standard HH.

Just pulled the chain case. Already have the flat lander gearing in there. Dealer must have set it up with the flat lander stuff when it was new.

Go and get 6 solid steel 17.2 rivets and 3 steel 17.2 rivets with hole in them. Three with the hole put at the pin or rear and then 2 solid rivets in the next 2 holes... That is what the dealer calls for here at 1600 ft elevation.
My wifes sled has those rivets, 14.5 rollers, OPO primary spring and stock secondary spring with a 45* helix. Super - Q pipe.
