Yes, we just got back and thought I should share some of the pictures from today's trip. We got about 5 inches of fresh snow in Houghton and quite a bit more up in the higher elevations. Rode up to Copper Harbor and back.
A couple of goof balls.
Ooops, somebody missed a turn.
VX1R showed up on his custom SRX and took us to a nice off trail area. See Peg, taking care of your boy.

No adjustments yet Cobalt, as the trails are flat as a pancake! Can't find any bumps!

It was quite cold this morning at only -16C (3F) and it took us a bit longer to get going. Welteracer and his crew joined us so we had a larger group riding today. Here is Gerbie, his partner, and Nos-Pro before we headed out.
We rode south today hoping to avoid all the traffic headed up to Copper Harbor. We rode south and decided to take the Freda loop. The trail was awesome and flat.
We then hooked back on the railroad grade, got petrol at the BP station in Twin Lakes, and took the Greenland loop. The first 15 miles were great. Swooping turns and flat trails. There was an area that previously had not been frooze enough for the groomer so we decided to take a break after we rode through some rough stuff. Mr. Sled's nephew with Viper Dave.

We had lunch in Greenland and plotted our next journey. It was going to be a big loop down through Mass City, down to Bruces Crossing, over to Sidnaw, back up to Greenland, and then back to Houghton. Some of the riders decided it was too much and headed back to Houghton. The rest had a great time on this loop.
We managed to ride 210 miles today on mostly flat trails. It was a great ride today but now it is time for the hot tub.
