This was my first TY ride, although I didn't ride with any of the group.
As I explained to NOS PRO, my buddy's Cat blew it's ACT drive on the way up from Bruce Crossing. He rented a sled in Hancock and wanted to get as many miles as possible for his rental $$. We managed to get his $185 rental cost down to .66/mi .
Only managed to meet a few people at the hotel. I guess I need to stay awake later and head back down to the bar! Next time I'll leave my Cat buddy at home!

revmuffin and Gade-Thrasher, It was great riding with you guys and will post my pics today sometime I hope. I feel like a truck driver as I did all this driving to Curtis and back, then Houghton and back, and last night to Waukegan, IL for race fuel and nitrous. (Thanks Bruce! CB Performance)

I would start a Thread in the ride forum looking for a travel buddy for the trip in question. There's a couple of regulars between you and Detroit.
