Mine didnt fare so well. Was a crack in it that I welded yesterday and today another developed growing so big muffler eventually came off.I havent closed the back of my tunnel and either from Ice or ?The silencer was all hammered up.I put stocker back on but I really need to know how other mufflers are holding up?It just isnt same with stocker on it plus it really is to heavy.

Mine is holding up just fine. The only thing it did was melt the stickers that were on it. I will get the sticky burnt stuff off in the spring. (glue)

yea im done with aftermarket exhausts lol.

my mig and my yoshi were a failure, so now the stock one is back on, its a sleeper now!

My Supertrapp Superlight stainless hoding up well after 1500 miles.

Needs a re-pack though, it's getting a little loud.

Hey that was the loudest 30mi I have ever done. Was afraid something would melt but nothing did.But man my ears are still ringing!

I am thinking the closed tunnel will help.I think the ice was crushing silencer. Why it cracked I have no idea but on my old YFZ I cracked a headpipe when I hit some powder once.Must cool it so fast it ruins the metal.
I think we need a stainless can.

Same as mars, my Supertrapp Stainless is perfect.
I just repacked mine, had about a handful of glass left in it.

I'll be hopefully repacking it with a new material in a couple weeks not
sure if I'll get to ride it after, but Mars I'll let you know how it works,
if it works well enough I'll be importing some :)

Do you have a link on where to get one of these?

Info on the packing you are going to use also.

Thanx

My pipe is holding up pretty good so far anyway,I have around 400kms on the sled with this pipe on and no problems so far only for a little color change, now this only happened after I shortened it up,I guess it is holding more heat now that its shorter and it dont dissipate heat as good as the orinigal size did but with the turbo under the seat there was no way to keep it long.I was affarid if I keep it long and I rolled the sled I would break it off or worse damage the turbo as it is bolted directly to the turbo and no bracket to surport it.Now when it was long I had a surport strap on it but now I dont,I did try the strap but it never really seemed to do anything. If any one was interested in buying the other half of my pipe {I cut in directly in half} I would get a couple of ends for it and repack it.If anyone wanted my MCXpress muffler, I would sell that aswell.
Now here are some long and short pics of mine,I will also get pics of the MCX exhaust today.Oh ya I also have a used slip on Hindle pipe with some scuffs and stuff on it but it is mostly under the seat and you cant really notice it,here are pics of it aswell.

As I said here is some crappy pics of my MCXpress exhaust that came with the turbo system before it was modified to let sled breath better, also some pics after it was modified,as its all I have on theCPU but I will
get more of any of the pipes if anyone wants some.

That is awesome! That has got to be the funnest sled you have ever ridden.Man what I would do just to have that power! In powder/rough I can pull right up to guys with Apexs here since none have as big a track as me.Have even passed a few in rough but the buggers just wait for a nice smooth spot and go right by.The look on thier face if I could just hold them off would be priceless. ;)!

So it's a totally different exhaust you got with your turbo system than mine from early 2007 ?
What was crappy about it ?
Is your intake and air filter located as it came in the MCX kit ?

How did you re-pack yours? I guess you take it apart from the opposite end of the disks right ?

I lost the instruction sheet that came with mine...

I think when I ran it with open end cap for a while I lost all my packing... oops.

These types of exhaust are BY FAR the best out there for the Phazer, usually go for under 100$ as well..

Ebay is FULL of them.

Well I pulled it off the sled, and there is another allen
screw near the tip end(about 3 inches from the end)

Then the core and discs(one unit) come out on the disc end.

Currently I'm using FMF 4-stroke packing.
I also used a piece woven fiberglass(the kind used for autobody) and wrapped the inner core to help eliminate
blow out, I'm not sure if this practice is used much, but I
was experimenting. When the New stuff comes in, I will be
repacking again...(still waiting on samples, should be good stuff
and hopefully the last packing I(or you buy))

I think supertrapp recommends pulling the pipe because
during reassembly, you need access to the other end
to line the core up easier. I guess you could do it without, but
seems like it'd be tougher.

I will say the pipe is quieter, I was out on an extended ride
this weekend, and it "broke" in the FMF stuff.
