just bouht a ecp kit from a guy puttuing a supercharger on his sled, only had it on for an hour of riding, anyway he didnt remember if he switched out the springs or not as they are both silver. the ones in the kit i got sure seem alot like the stockers, help please, thanks freddie

I reccon you are talking about the secondary cause they are color coded using only one color. Primarys are coded by three colors.

If thickness and winding of the spring are similar to the stock Pink secondary, then it is a White secondary spring on which the painting is gone. My Silver sec spring is all black paint is gone.

Nope he means the carb slide springs. The thing that makes this hard to answer is the stock springs are silver in color as well but with a bit more on the bronze, zinc or brass gold hue to them. the Holtzman I believe have more of a blue silver hue to them.

Why don't you just look for the little part number stamped on the spring coil.......just kidding.

The stock springs are longer than the Holtzman silver springs.

you should be able to feel the difference when putting the caps back on the carbs too. The stock ones are quite a bit stiffer than the holtzman springs.
