How do you cut down the sides of a 15" track to fit in the Phazer? I've heard of a tablesaw. What blade?

Also, what's the widest the track can be? One member here cut his to 14.25.

If you do cut a 15" all the way down to 14" are you running the risk of hitting the fiberglass reinforcements in the ribs? Also, does it hit any other cording or reinforcements in the track that will fray on the edges?

Just looking into the option of getting a 1.5" lug 15" wide track that's cheaper than a Freeride.

Thanks for your input.

i did the table saw thing with a regular blade....we hit the fiberglass rods....track is holding up just fine....14.25in wide...theres a youtube video showing it being done....we turned the track inside out and slowly worked it around....got the track 200bucks so i save a bunch o money

Table saw and a couple of friends to help. I cut mine right side up. I used a regular blade. Remember to wear safey glasses. Pieces of rubber go everywhere. good luck.

Just a little FYI the SEARCH function works all manner of magic ie a couple of minutes of this magic thingy would have answered all or most of your questions and found you some youtube videos of it ;)! Here is a link to a vid of cutting a track, guess what, I searched for it!
