How do you feel after a full day of riding....

I'm probably going to get a "trail" viper ltx dx or se. Haven't decided if I want the floats or not. Not too worried about saving weight, looking for plush ride though.

As much as I love this SRX, I can hardly wait for next season. My body is just aching...and to think there's still 2-3months of riding left...

Go with the DX if you are wanting a plush ride.

After a day of riding my ltx se I have to be careful when I get off. First thing you have to worry about is stepping on your hand as your arms keep getting longer and longer. Next I keep slaming my forehead on the door jam as mg kneck keeps stretching and most of all my jaw bones are so sore from my huge smile from riding this machine. So before you buy one just remember all these cautions. Have fun!!!!

That is just my video skills making it look that good

Yamadog, those trails weren't that bumpy. Come to New York and see what real bumps are. Last week breaking in the sled was 2 to 3 footers everywhere you went. Even with those bumps, with the right suspension it's still a lot of fun.

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to say anything lol. I rode from happy valley to Camden to Florance to Redfield back to happy valley Friday. Rode Happy Valley to Redfield down the side of the reservoir past water tower to Altmar and back to Happy Valley Saturday. Trails Friday were not too bad. 1 to 1½ footers. Saturday was worse saw the normal 2 to 3 footers. Had some friends that rode the upper part of the hill Friday; Redfield, Barns Corners, and Montague. They said it was total crap 2 to 3 footers just about everyplace. Long story short. The riding I did I felt 100% good to go at the end of the day. Like some have said the only thing I can complain about is my hands hurting. Something to do with the change in handlebars vs my apex rtx. My dad who is 70 was also riding right along with me on his viper. No complaints from him either. Hands down the viper is the best sled I have rode in the rough stuff. I still need to work on getting it around turns better, but there is not really enough good snow for any real results right now. You will be very happy with the viper. It just won't have the top end that your srx has out of the box.

That is good to hear, I guess a few a guys are having problems with their hands. I'm guessing because your holding on tight for long periods of time.

That's the one thing I'm going to miss...the pull and top end. But how fast do you really need to go? I'll sacrifice speed for comfort any day of the week!

Lol right on!

Great ride! Usually I am the one not ready to quit.

2014 viper, mpi
2009 Phazer 144"

Ditto on that one....after a long day of riding I'm ready to go out again!

Just talking smack! But if you think about it that's not something to be bragging about. Great video!!!

Weasel I was just kidding!!!!! That area is the best there is up there right now. The Viper eats them so well you don't get the full effect . Most of that video was run through 1.5' chop. Just north of there 3 groomers are down and the moguls are 3' to 4' deep for 13 miles. I was on trails that if you were at the bottom and the guy in front of you was in the bottom of his rut you could not see each other.

I have the hand problem I have it set like it has power steering and there is no arm pump from turning it. I am only running at 9#'s (13 available) of boost it is constantly trying to throw you off the back.

I really want the blue & white ltx se, but I don't think it has a heated seat and it has the fox floats which I don't mind...but want the coil overs found on the dx model. I don't mind red & white, but I prefer the blue & white. Any way to get blue & white in the dx trim?
