Quick question, how hot should your running board heat exchanger get after idling for 1/2 hour. Mine are almost too hot to touch after idling for 1/2 hour in a garage. I'm just wondering if that's too hot or is it normal, if its not normal what could cause it.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Sounds normal to me. 1/2 hour of idling in a garage I'm surprised the sled did not shut down from overheating.

In sub freezing temps it takes longer of course but now that's normal. It will shut down when too hot. But not when your riding just at idle from what I've seen. I could be wrong. You'll hear the fan come on first can't miss the sound of that.

Yeah that sounds right, I had over heated on a trail a month or so ago (put a hole in my rad) and I had it running on the trail until I realized I lost all my coolant and stopped, as soon as I stopped it shut down and would't start back up.
