I agree,sits a lot more like Apex ,I also modded foot rests and hoop and got rid of the angled plate where your foot is ,so your feet are flat on tunnel,now I dont get feet stuck in footwell!!!

I just did this mod on my 04 RX1M, i don't have any photos yet. I am using all the stock components. I am in the process of moving the gauge to the tank hole. Just need to buy some aluminum plate to make the mount.
So I have no clearance issues with the head light pod, or gas tank. If you use the stock steering post, it seems like it is a few inches shorter then the MPI post from the looks of the photos. All i had to do was adjust the tie rod to get the bars straight. I will post a bunch of photos tomorrow.
