OK, guys have been putting cat skids in nytros for a while, viper motors in nytro chassis, pro rmk front ends on nytros...how long before someone builds their own yamacat, nytro motor in a pro cross chassis?
Has anyone sized it up, how much work would be involved with putting a nytro motor in a cat chassis? This would be a nice project, actually see how much yamaha really contributed to this chassis.I can't be the first one to think about this? I know I could easily trade my nytro for a 2014 viper, but what's the fun in that!

yamacat

yes I have thought of it you can buy a procross chassis with a blown motor and put a nitro motor in it. From The Pictures Ive seen the nitro motor sits pretty high in the procross
looks to be at least 2 inches higher in relation to the driveshaft. you will be able to buy the pipe and the motormounts it might be not to hard. Another thing I thought about was using the nitro motor in a summer toy (dune buggy, motorcycle ect.)

I was thinking pull my Viper engine with 0 miles. Put my 5k mile Nytro Engine in It and see how long it will last since the skuzzball sled will be retired this spring. :jump: :4STroke:

There is a lot different, I think it would add up in a hurry trying to build your own with factory parts.
