I've got 3000miles on mine and I don't like to speak for someone else, but.......
I saw Climbmax on Snowmobiler TV today, and he said he had 4000 miles on his RX1-M........3000 of them with an MCX turbo putting out 240-300hp with 0 troubles.
.... if you read this CM, that boost switch is waaay cool.

Some people buy sleds to dress up their garage. I buy mine to ride. I never, ever ever put miles like this until I switched to Yamaha. My first Rx-1 I bought in 03 was a short track which I put 10,300 miles before trading it for my 05.
I tell a lot of people,"If you only ride 300-500 miles a year, polaris, cat, bombardier are excellent sleds. But if you want to lay miles down, there is no substitute.....YAMAHA

I have 2400 "mountain miles" on my '03 RX-1mtn LE without a single issue. Mountain miles in the steep and deep are a lot harder than the trail cruising. My sled is constantly pinned on every climb working the engine hard in deep over the hood powder. To compare the work load on the engine; my sled generally sees 7-8 mpg vs. the average trail mileage of 15+ mpg.

My sleds a year old and has 3000 miles on her...runs great never any problems I run it in the mountains and deep powder lots of full throttle.

Mileage on RX-1's
Was at the dealer yesterday and met a guy there from Canada. (I live right near the border) Anyway we got to talking about mileage on RX-1's and he was telling me that once in a while he helps his best friend give guided tours through Labrador Canada. In a week and a half they do 3000 miles. He was telling me that friend had an 03 RX-1 and at the end of last year had a bad accident in which his sled became total loss. Very sad thing because that sled still had a lot of life left in it. It only had a little over 38,000 miles on the odometer.
I think that's the most mileage I've ever seen. Has anybody ever heard of anyone with more?
