How many of you have broke the W arm

Thanks for Y.E.S.

A local dealer in Twin Lakes got it done. I was impressed and they had a 1 day turn around. Brought it in at 10 and called back by 3. My adjuster cable was broke and they want 90 bucks for it, even though it was up-dated twice!
Now that is service.

Mine went last week where the weight transfer rod conects to teh W arm. The weld on each side of the cross-member went.

Check out these pictures. This sled had about 8000 miles on it before it finially gave completely away!!! They were able to repair all the welds and reinforce it all.

Send the arms to halfbaked. I did my own reinforcing a few years, and this year he added more, and powder painted it. General consensus is we beat the snot out of our sleds on the bumps, but do preventive maintenance and reinforcement so we can ride hard. In the last two weeks, I welded up another RX1 arm again (all new breaks..previous welds holding fine) of the guy I ride with, and my Vector front arm finally cracked under my 18 year old son's pounding. So I'm welding often on the on stock arms..so far, the super duty RTX arm is holding well, as is the powder paint, (nice job Brian!!) No worries here.
Also have a destroyed RX1 arm I welded back together last year, as a 'fill in' arm until the guy got his new one. Works fine, but is a little crooked..lol.

mine. 5800 km´s on it. And the looks of things this is not the re-enforced one what Yamaha has made here.
