how many of you have not had anyproblems with your phazer?

Relatively new rider. 2007 Mtn Lite w/ 900 miles so far this season, no serious problems noted. Stone stock as yet, mods planned for summer off-season. Have had icing on running boards, nothing a few kicks won't clear well enough for riding. But WOW is this thing fun to ride !!!

Fx...no trubbles what so ever exept for the over heat light a couple times.

I had the overheating issue for the first 400km and then it disappeared. It's been an excellant sled since...1100km on total.

lets see..
400+ miles this year, nothing I had to go back to the
dealer for.
Snowbuildup is an issue, hoping to find
"snoweliminator" type of footboard inserts. have a few
emails out.

My fx:

Snow/ice buildup inside tunnel/running boards making my pants soaking wet and this little sled almost in the apex weight division. Closed the tunnel and problems almost gone

Bad designed plastic panel between a-arms mounting allowing snow entering engine room making steering freeze. No fix this winter.

Toasted slides/hyfax. My dealer changed them and also added the extra idler wheels kit - free of charge

Now at the end of season when outside temprature rised abowe freeze I also got problems with engine overheating. My dealer added the fan - free of charge, problem gone

Rear skid shock set up sucks on mine. Way to fast/hard rebound damping. Will have it revalved during this summer.

Sniperviper: I was told by a guy from Yamaha Scandinavia that they will revalve the skid shocks for free here in Sweden.
Talked to him at the roadshow.

The rear skid shock on my fx really sucks. Its no reboud damping at all and on bumpy trails it beat the hell out of my #*$&@ and spine.¨

Sounds like you have the busted rear link..........

Sounds like you have the busted rear link..........

I think it was I who wrote that. My rear link is not broken but I will put on the updated linkage part when its avalible.

No problems except the well known loose engine mount nut and the missing front yamaha badge. But my sled is not very stock... the turbo and 1.5" track solves most of the icing/cooling problems. Have not installed the fan yet, but I have bought it.

what kind of Hp are you pushing with that thing?

140-150 hp. Should be closer to 150 if my turbo pressure gauge is correct
