I have spent more years on a Nytro(supercharged the last couple years), than I have on a Winder.
If you compare on performance, handling, comfort, suspension, and pure fun factor, the Winder is ahead by 10 country miles.
This debate is useless anyway as they stopped building Nytro's(and Apex) years ago. That tells you all there is to know.

I own both and love both of them. The nytro has the star rear end, mountain tec front, osp handlebar relocate and revalved shocks. It is a wheelie monster the way I have it set up and is a riot to throw around. The winder is set up to hang on to the trail like a cat on a screen door and has all the TD goodies. 2 different purposes and depending on the day I could choose either.

Good news!! I got my primary roller washers in today. Woohoo. I will put my new rollers and washers in and see if I can make the weekend. If I do there is a yammie tech race freak here who will set my clutching up. If thats good, maybe my driveshaft will fail completely so I can get a new one if YES will cover it before that warranty runs out, then I can stick the wedge in it. Hopefully it wont blow belts and throw my stubshaft out again. While I will be waiting for the driveshaft I might as well buy an aftermarket seat heater because warranty wouldnt replace it. If I am going to order that I might as well order the plastic that was smashed when my upper gear failed and caused me to crash and break my collarbone.
Awesome sled built by a stand up company. Love it. Another great thing is my Sidewinder maybe is holding its value since it is such low miles on it. , I put more miles on my Nytro than my $20, 000 Sidewinder since I got it. But then the Nytro only has 22 000k on it and its 11 years old so thats not too bad. Ya, the Nytro is not a great sled. Gotta love my Sidewinder.

I'll be keeping my Cruise Missle, it's an awesome sled and Yamaha stood by their warranty, it wasn't a big problem, the saddle bags wouldn't close properly but it was covered. I wouldn't trade this sled for anything. Joe

Maybe you should just sell you Sidewinder, since it is obvious that you hate it!!!Good news!! I got my primary roller washers in today. Woohoo. 2019 xtx,(power surge model) I beleive the powersurge gives you mountain skis and front end, not 100% sure on the spindles and arms. 3500km, ice age rails, larger storage bag, J&T 4th wheel kit, knee pads, 6" handle bar riser, Upgraded secondary rollers, bunch of clutch springs, different helix. I am installing some upgraded Nytro primary rollers a member here suggested I try. Likely will put it up for sale after the tech gets it as good as he can, unless it turns out awesome and it begs me to forgive it. lol I do not think the clutching was ever correct on this sled. Then I will do the other fixes previously mentioned if I do give it another chance. I really do not want to go to a 2 stroke.
