I have a set of white curves on one of my Phazers and they look like trash because the rust from the carbide bolt(s) has discolored/stained the plastic. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to remove the stains?

I realize this thread is worthless without pix but my phone is inside on the charger.

I have used lacquer thinner.

I have used lacquer thinner. Try a little spot first with a cloth rag.

Maybe some CLR? I've used it for a lot of other applications. I agree that the magic erasers seem to be able to clean anything. Another thing you could do for the future, is take the carbides off and paint them with a high quality rust paint.

simple green...and/or magic eraser...works on soot on my diesels on white

I don't have white skis but I use Wesley's bleche white (that's how they spell bleach on the bottle) it is originally for white wall tires but I use it on everything from shoes to tires to plastic parts on the boat.

I was going to try wheel cleaner (acid) on mine. And I'm going to spray the studs on the new carbides with silicone spray regularly to try to stop the rust in the first place
