The first pic shows the stock 35 next to the 35/39 reverse. Second pic shows the stock 35 next to ulmers helix.
I'd like to know how to measure the angle? Ulmers helix is a progressive and much steeper than stock.
With this helix I'm running 78 grams on my STMs with PT CAI tune. Pulls right up to 8900 rpms, haven't been able to test other than a couple 300' bursts to see how the rpms hold but I like how it feels down low.
I'm not sold on all the hype of reverse angles and can't wait till my run at work is over so I can do some testing.

That progressive of Ulmers would work well with a early spool type tune.

Derek.....Measuring the true angles of a helix is a lot simpler than you'd think. All you need is a flat surface, a hex head nut and a angle finder: https://www.weselltools.com/small-p...k7DKwTd0rMQiZVotsauvW-jXq40plug0aAjQkEALw_wcB
These angle finders are pretty easy to source at most auto parts stores and hardware stores and are pretty cheap.
1. You need to place the helix on a flat surface with the ramps facing up.
2. Place the hex head nut anywhere on the helix ramp where you want to measure the angle. Make sure that one side of the nut is making full contact with the ramp surface that you want to measure. The starting angle would be the very tip of the helix where the rollers or buttons make contact with the ramp under no load.
3. Lay the bottom of the angle finder on the very top of the hex head nut opposite the side of the nut that's making contact with the helix ramp. Take a look at the tip of the needle of the angle finder and you'll find the helix angle.
There's no voodoo to measuring the helix angles.
