How to remove Jack Shaft Bearing

Making progress in replacing the bearings in my sled, I have the jackshaft out and am trying to remove the bearing on the clutch side. I can remove the bearing retainer, but cannot get the bearing off of the shaft.

I have tried heat and penetrating fluid with no luck. Would a bearing puller be a good idea? not too sure on where to "push" from, but my 4" isn't long enough, so will check the parts store tomorrow for a longer one.

Any other tips are very welcome.

The bearing is pressed on the shaft to a specific spot. Measure from the end of the shaft to the bearing, it is crucial to get it back in the right spot.

The bearing is interference fit to the shaft. I usually press them on and off in a hydraulic press. It takes a good amount of force and always push on the inner race when installing the new bearing.

thanks for the info. The stock bearing still looks really good, so maybe I'll just clean it out good and re-grease it.
