I hear you I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on a rtx Le like a planed and never got the same rr skid I have now I think I need a beefy skid for how hard I am on it lol. I'll be interested to see if some of the new changes in the early release 18 cats trickle down to the Yamaha SW. The new 800 ctech in the mountain platform it getting rave reviews so far and the few videos look impressive
Hardest part of all is not knowing if Yamaha will deliver or screw us again. I took a look and the RTX LE shown still shows the RR skid about as plain as can be.

Yes it's a bit much same as we got screwed on our front shocks!
My hope is that moving snowmobile operations to Canada will help in this regard. The former US based crew owns the 2017 rollout I believe.
