Thanks! I will be contacting Dave for more pictures and to ask some more questions. If I am going to spend that kind of money I want to make sure I don't have regrets later because I chose the wrong kit.

Keep in mind when deciding which kit is best for you, the Hurricane 190 hp kit includes new injectors and a PCV. Both nice features in my mind. When you factor in the cost of these two items it's a very good value.

Yes, that is making me wonder why the Push kit does not include larger injectors. The push kit does include the PCV and clutching which is all that I thought was needed. I will ask Dave about the larger injectors.

The push kit was tempting with the increased HP and clutching included. After speaking with Dave my decision was made.

Ya been racing a few different people. Hard for me to do races right from a dig right now cuz clutching is engaging too low and when I got wot the stock fuel mapping just loads it with fuel at too low of an rpm and it gets some bad boggling for a second or so before it takes off, got a few springs coming in today to try that will raise my engagement up and hopefully eliminate that. Doing roll on raced from 5mph it's pulled away from all the 800's I've raced, uncle came out with his procross turbo the other day which should be a real fast machine but his seemed to really be falling short on rpm so didn't get to really tell anything there as he would only go a few hundred feet before letting off, unfortunately once that one gets running good it won't even be close there but as for the 800 2 strokes there shouldn't be anyone having an issue with those. As u can see in the video even at or close to 100 it's still jumping 3 digits at a time

Lol well they're all friends or relatives that I've raced so far. From a dig I've still been able to catch them all, the procross cat 800 is the hardest to catch, but that is a good running "stock" sled lol which it's definitely not stock. All the other 800s were stock except 1 skidoo but even from a dig u don't even see them, the stockers u can just play with them at 80-90 mph

Yes very good running lol. It's my younger cousin who owns the sled, he weighs about 140 soaking wet, I'm pushing 250 in street clothes now, so huge difference there. When we switch sleds from a dig and all the way to the end of the field with him on the viper it's just a steady pull all the way, him on the viper and me on the 800 he will pull 4-5 sled lengths in 1000', switch sleds again and run them and I hafta run prolly close to 800' before I can catch him on the 800. Guess I better start my winter time diet of greasy restaurant burgers and just crank the boost lol

The cat turbo was running nowhere near it's potential, it's a used one my uncle picked up last spring, that was the second time he had it out, it's got all the parts to run in the 280hp range but when it's running 600 rpm low and falling it don't matter how much power u got lol but in short distances with an 800 that's setup properly to get a good launch it'll take some distance to catch up, 800s aren't slow, they're not super fast either, but they are very light weight and very quick and that's worth a lot in a drag race

Back to the topic. IMO Yamaha should be endorsing the Hurriance Turbo Kit. Perfect fitting kit and top fit and finish.

Yamaha put some very stringent demands on the turbo kit they endorsed (MPI) that most turbo companies did not want to do revolving around fueling, cooling, and reliability testing. Doesn't mean the other cannot make a nice product, but my choice is the one that went the extra mile. Just my opinion of course.
