I didn't wait to hear from some who have tried it. My shocks are with Ross right now to have his Trail Pro setup installed. I have worked with him in the past and have been extremely pleased. After speaking with Ross regarding his suspension upgrades for our sleds I felt confident in having him make my Attak GT even better. I'll comment after some seat time....but we may have to do so via pm's. I do not think Hygear is a sponsor.

I contemplated getting his sport package with the addon rear remote res but I couldn't justify the $$$. I went with Pioneer instead. I will try that this season and see what happens for next season.

You are correct. I have the 4stroke page listed as a favorite page in my browser....so I skip past the home page that has the sponsor button. Glad to know Hygear is here!

This is the ultimate cure for the mono suspension. It do not sacrifice the quality ride and no more bottoming.I was amaze by this shock upgrade and ajustability.

Had my shock resprung with the dual spring and had it revalved at Hy gear last year. It is a totally different sled now. It rarly bottoms out and the ride is super. Just talk to Ross, he will get you set up.

Can they revalve my mono shock to match the 7.0 Kg spring from Yamaha? I am very interested to have that done. I forgot to call today and ask. What is the turn around time like??

Did you choose to add the resevoir as well?

I got my shock back from Hygear about two weeks ago and so far I'm pleased. I did go with the pro trail setup, resivoir and hi-low valve. My thought was if your going to do it, do it. I figure the res can't hurt, it will keep the temps of the oil down and also allows for the hi-low valve to be added. More adjustability, why not. Just couldn't take the bottoming any more. I realize the sled should bottom on occasion but every half way large hit, or any rolling section and I'm slaming the susp. and or being bucked off. Nothing against any other company that does shocks as I think they all can improve it, I just decided to go with them because of the rep. and additions they offered. By the way the quality of their work was great. As for the ride well, no snow no ride, have to wait and see. Turn around time was about two weeks, Ross called me to discuss exactly what it was I wanted to acheive, durring this conversation he told me that it would be ready and shipped out on this date, which it was. I didn't choose the express time as I was not in a hurry, so they may be able to get it done in less time. Give them a call if you have any questions, very nice people to deal with.

Do you think the reservoir will make that much of a differrence?

The reservoir make a big difference,it ad oil for cooling so your shock will not fade out and have the hi-lo compression damping. The adjustement cable on the side of the mono shock effect is 80% is reboud and 20% is compression. So if you put the adjustement to max for maximum damping you will have maximum rebount to.

I too had Ross do the dual rate springs and revalve all the shocks on my 06 GT. I live 20 minutes for Ross's shop, I drove them over and a week later i picked them up. We sent about 1.5 hours fine tuning the rates and coupling cross overs. He is also doing a suspension seminar at CNY Power Sports tomorrow night for anyone in the Cortland NY area.
