I miss my old Nytro.
Since then I've owned a a 08 Skidoo 800X and then a 2010 Skidoo MXZ 1200TNT and now a 2011 Skidoo Mxz 800 X etec.
I'm tall and I miss the tall tunnel and seating position that it created.
I had problems with frames and ball joints but the sled never left me broke down on the side of the trail.
I missed last weekened and now this weekend... waiting for a stator for my 800 etec X...
It might be time to build a sick Nytro Turbo to suit me..
There was always a fun factor feeling driving the Nytro. The doo 1200 is a great sled. It too had its electrical problems too

Yamaha a good reliable base to build on, they aren't perfect, but can be built into the best.

I'd say the grass isn't always greener on the other side, but this year the grass is green everywhere!!!! I tend to stick with Doo or Yamaha but the XP I really don't like, I find it cold, and the junk down by your feet drives me crazy, (chain case and brake covers maybe?)
Custom Nytro is the way to go..

I own both, Nytro XTX and XR1200, both are very nice sleds but offer different personalities. None have ever let me down with any issues.

Snow!!! We just got 32 inches up north. I've owned my Nytro since 09 and don't see myself getting rid of it for a long time...no major problems, starts ever time I turn the key.

My nytro pulls harder than any other sled I have ever rode! It is not a top end monster but by far the fastest from bump to bump and the most fun to ride!! I say my nytro runs like a full blown race sled on race fuel. BUT MINE HAS THE DEPENDABILITY!!!

Spent some time with Johnny Yamaha today doing a little trail racing at Mill Hill.
He has a sick Turbo Nytro. I think you may be on to something.
We are trying to dial in my old SC RX 1 after upping the boost to 11 pounds.
Right now the old One Ton is quicker but the turbo Nytro is faster over 110 MPH. We still have a bit of work to do. RX 1 is was fat on fuel at the moment.
BTW Fundy & Goshen trails great other than a little slush which was gone today. A little thin near Petty but passable.
