nobody has been on here talking/bragging/whatever about this past weekend. C'mon guys, it couldn't have been THAT much of a dud........ even though I missed Friday........two sleds and BOTH down for the count :o| :o|

I rode w/ ViperDave, Johnboy, and a few other guys on Saturday....we made a quick run over north of Seney, and then I showed them some nice off trail stuff. The snow over that was was excellent!!!

I didn't have a camera with me, but some of the other guys did...

We all made it back in one piece with no mis-haps along the way.

This is true! usually the first one home on sunday starts the thread and then the pictures start showing up. It helps those of us who couldn't make it stay in touch!

Huh? I wondered what happened to johnboy after he swore he was going to make it. I really wanted to go with you guys but DaJudge had to eat (+ I wanted to LaLaLa ) and V_D was chomping at the bit to get going.

Next time?

Buddah, It was great to meet and ride with you on Saturday and Sunday. I enjoyed meeting a lot of TYers as this was my first TY ride.

I had to laugh when I think Rock spent more time installing Yamaheaters in the parking lot than he did riding!

G.B.

Was great to see everybody again and get the season started! Trails were great and traffic pretty light.
Fridays ride was around Seney and up to GrandMaris back to Munising, I think we had 160 miles.
Saturday rode off trail in the Seney area. Props to Yama Yooper for showing us some premo spots. Only wish we had more gas to play longer. Here's some pics from Saturday, forgot the camera on Friday.

The adventure for the weekend? How about packing 10 people in and Excursion for dinner and no one knows how to get there unless there on a sled! LOL
Tom, thanks for having these rides there a blast. ;)!

Buddah, I was walking up behind you with Yamma-Yooper Saturday morning in the Comfort Inn parking lot and you took off, I could not catch you. The ride Saturday was alot of fun and it was really nice riding with Yamma-Yooper, Viper Dave and the guys. I was the one wearing the bright Ski-Doo snowmobile suit. You know us Yoopers we are cheap. When my sled hits 20,000 miles I promised myself I would get the Yamaha clothing to go with it!!!!!!!!!!!. Maybe this year??

Budda, Viper Dave, Onlyblue, Mrsled, and Bigguy to mention a few. I had great time for my first TY ride. Meet some great sleders, watched a clutch repair in the parking lot, ate some good food, rode over 400 plus miles all in one weekend. I thought it was a great weekend, lots of miles, cool people and talk.

I will will post my pics tonight!

Thanks guys!

What was the clutch rebuild not fast enough? We had to get a broken bolt out of the clutch too :o| ! Or did you miss the carbide change 5 min earlier :-o .

We could have be faster but me and my bro's heated trailer was in use for handwarmer installs......

It is good that all repairs happened at the hotel and not on the trail.

On a side note Yamaha canada is warenting one of the shocks in the venture and they say the others are good enough. I guess the vipe4r shocks are getting revalved and going in that.

Thanks to all the people We rode with, ViperDave(and his sitting shadow), Yama_ooper, egale1, bigshow and all the others....

just notice this was my first post on the 4stroke side oh well

kirkswim great to meet you too. Did you eat the 2lb burger or have the steak that was under cooked? I have been to Froggys 2 times before with good luck with the food. However, we did cook it ourselves.
You guys were very fast at both the carbide change and the clutch repair. Great fun.

my steak was overcooked, the 2lb burger was my "little" brother cory he idoes not belong to the site. I should get him a login i guess.

Buddah2,

It was great to finally meet and ride with you. This was my 2nd TY ride, and I had a good time, and met a lot of nice folks from far away places that came to the ride as well as the guys from Michigan.
I posted about a dozen pictures in the Photo Forum.
Really looking forward to the Feb.Munising Ride, and more members to meet and ride with.
See ya in Feb.

Nick ;)! :-o
