i would like some opinions from people that have tried both.
i am looking for whatever darts the least and still bites in the corners faily well. i like the thought of the pilots floating in powder better but i drove an 09 1200 ski doo renegade the other day with 5.7 pilots and it darted fairly bad i thought.
thanks for any info
ANDREW

by the way the renegade i drove only had 1 set of runners in the middle. i wonder the the darting would have been less with 2 sets of runners.

I put the 6.9s on this year and love them and I made my sled a 144''. I only run the middle carbide and it is only a 4". Love every mile with them.

I originally put deuce on, worked ok, but sled still liked to act like a submarine. Put the 6.9's on and luv them. Sled does not submarine anymore, weight distributed better, and stays on top of snow. It helps with cornering also, less ski lift in turns with the wider skis, and the second carbide on the planted ski aids in steering. There may be better skis in the market, but I am extremely satisfied with the 6.9's. (ATTAK, Cobra, no studs, 4" all around) Also when driving along pavement when necessary, with one ski on bank and one on road or shoulder, the secoind carbide comes into play, giving control and saving ski side.
