I have a question about RX-1 2005...

The RX-1 2005 come with lightweight battery (15lbs) and the RX-1 2005 not come with a new battery...

Why??

I have take this informations from www.yamaha-motor.com on section features & benefits.

I waiting for a RX-1 ER 2005 and i need a lightweiht battery.

What are you tring to say.. Please read what you posted.... 2005 Rx1ER suppose to come with a light weight battery from what I was told.. But the website for the Rx1 vs the Rx1ER makes me wonder...

He want to know, why Yamaha advertised a light weight battery for the rx-1 2005 and not for the rx-1 2005 ER . He has un 2005 ER in order, and he his curious about that.

If you need a lightweight battery, ask your dealer to change the stock battery for the YUASA YTZ10S. It weighs less than 8 pounds and still gives you some good CCA when it gets cold (especially in QC). Did not have any problem last year with the YTZ10S. Good luck!

Sorry didn't mean any harm... Just wanted to make sure I was answering the right question... Its really weird that they are not putting the light weight battery in the ER... HMMM... Got to talk to my dealer about that one.. Maybe an oversite on the website?

It's a fact but don't ask me why just picked up my ER today it has the same battery as my 03 standard RX1 only gets the light weight battery. Must be that beeper :lol:

Hold on here just one minute.... There is a battery that weighs 8 lbs less than the standard one? How much more is the lighter battery? Thats a huge difference for such a small battery.
