I've ridden a well modified TCat for the last 5 seasons and it was time for a new sled. As a long time Cat rider I waited to see what they had. The new CF 1000 peaked my interest but not as much as an Attak. I think Yamaha has it right. This sled seems like it will have everything I want and more.
I called about 20 dealers in MI looking for a left over '06 in Red but could only find one in Blue. Got a great price on it and decided to forget the color and grabbed it yesterday.
Looks like a lot of good info on this site and a good group of guys. I'm looking forward to next season, it's gonna be a loooong summer.

I'm praying for a freak snow storm in the lower in the next couple weeks. I don't think I'll have time for a full trip back up to the UP but could manage a quick weekend up around my in-laws in St. Helen. But right now in SE MI it's raining like hell and supposed to hit 67F! Not sure what happened to winter this year.

Hey I resemble that remark!

Welcome Beerman! As was said I did have a Thousand tripple but it was a two-up T-Cat (Pantera). Great sled still have it and take it for a blast on the lake every now and again. Best two-up touring I ever owned. Probably the last one as well. Performance & touring seems to be a contridiction nowadays.
After my Warrior I find it (Pantera) to be hard on fuel and damn stinky. Once you go fourstroke its hard to go back. Now if Yami would make a 150 efi Venture it would make my day.
Come to NWO if you want to ride, was out today and look what they did to my trails! It was awesome!

Sasquatch, those trails look fantastic. I've ridden the Wawa area several times, but where about are these?

Dryden Ontario. About 120 miles from the Manitoba Border. Or about 8 to 10hrs West and a bit North of Wawa.
