If anyone has a superior accessory I'll buy it. Looking at one of those Oxygen helmets as one of my Winder buds has one and loves it.

The only BRP accessory that I carry in my pack is a doo tow strap. It's 's not nice to leave the doo guys stranded in the woods someone's got to tow them back!

Ya I just towed a buddy’s 800 etec, great motor, he’s on his third motor, and won’t switch to a four stroke. The only BRP accessory that I carry in my pack is a doo tow strap. It's 's not nice to leave the doo guys stranded in the woods someone's got to tow them back!

I have 5350km on my Oxygen, I'm a trail guy and nothing beats this helmet. No breath box stuck to your face, no balaclava, super warm I've worn it from +5 to -35 Celcius and have not had any issues. There are zero drafts, it's super quiet as well, great vision. I ride with guys with "regular" modular helmets and they are constantly stopping to adjust their balaclava's cuz of drafts or fog or this or that. I just put the helmet on and ride.
The 2 negatives for me are the Price, I was happy to pay it as it's a killer helmet but it's still not cheap. And if anything it's a little too warm when it's above zero.

Does it need to be plugged in on really cold days to stop the visor from frosting up?I have 5350km on my Oxygen, I'm a trail guy and nothing beats this helmet. Well, I don’t care what you want to call them...brp or skidoo, I personally think they’re junk, but that is only my opinion. If you like skidoo accessories, good for you! I’m happy for you.
I also wouldn’t spend $700CAD on a helmet either, but if that’s what you like, I say go for it! No skidoo junk for me...

Great for those that have to wear glasses especially and the visibility downward is much improved.

I never tried it without having it plugged in but I believe it's meant to be plugged in all the time. The magnetic hookup on the back of the helmet is really good, flew off the machine a few times and it just disconnected from the helmet without pulling anything out

There also is no fan in there, the heat from the shield keeps the area between your face and the shield warm. I don't wear glasses but on a few occasions where it was extremely sunny I wore my sunglasses inside the helmet with the tinted shield down and zero fogging.

No worries just clearing it up incase someone is interested. The area where the sun visor is parked is heated. Also you can ride with the shield cracked open if it gets hot and still no draft on your face. It is louder though with shield cracked open.Ok, I was told there was a fan, my bad.
Helmet is super light too, rode 10-12hrs days multiple times feels like you have nothing on.
I have a Bluetooth system in and it's awesome! Helmet 750 + 300BT +tax = still very worth it!

I am still using my Yamaha SnoForce II helmet with heated shield, that I bought for my 2000 SRX.
Have bought a couple other helmets since but they suck, so I keep going back to my good ole helmet. They quit making heated shields for it many years ago so it’s only a matter of time. Too bad because it is still my favorite after all these years. Do not want a helmet with a gross breath box either, that is just a bad design all around.
