I've been checking out pics of preproduction and production , ViperJoe is right, they did make changes . I just hope it works cause I don't think that ice buildup would be good . Anyone have any idea what the consequences are if this happens to a sled?Another reason this site is awesome! I would never have even looked at that! That looks "ugly".

Why didn't they just frogskin it? Seems like a simple fix. Probably didn't want to spend the cash on the stuff..

AXR, they screwed us on the RR skid, you didn't think they would pony up for a frogskinZ did ya? That would cost a whole 10 bucks! LolWhy didn't they just frogskin it? Seems like a simple fix. Probably didn't want to spend the cash on the stuff..

Frog skin wouldn't help. If it's cold and you powder ride expect ice. My viper ices bad. 5 days in a row riding in deep powder and the front was a block of ice. Max temp was 15 deg f during the day. When it's 20 or above it doesn't do it. But there were no issues with the sled heating up. So who cares about a little ice as long as it doesn't affect performance. JMO
