Sled is idling at 1000rpm. How do I adjust this up?

I did a search, only thing close was the fuel mixture procedure.

Also I just installed a super Q shorty muffler. the one that goes with the mountain seat.

On the side of the idle control valve there is a black knob to adjust idle. Make sure throttle bodies are syncd, compression is good, air filter is clean. Idle should 1500 rpm + or - 100 rpm

Does it idle smooth at that RPM and has it always idled like that?

I'd try a can of Sea Foam or 2 over the course of a couple weeks first and see what happens?

Idle is smooth and yes its always been low. never bothered me until Rock told me it was too low and if I kept it like that my hand warmers won't heat up at idle. which is true, I always associated it with the crappy bars.

Set the idle at like 2,500 that would be a good starting point.

Lol JK

mine is to high and sounds like a 2 stroke on idle lol I think I moved the wrong screw. I was setting the idle the other day and I moved the screw in the middle of my throttle ..that's the one the manual sais to move anyway. some guys say its the black nob on the side???? im confused, any one can help me?

See the knob on the bottom left of the pic, it goes into the end of the IAC housing which is located on the top left side of the engine attached to the throttle bodies. look in from the left side below the tin piece that holds the headlight pod.
