I'm looking to buy a viper rtx se this week ...$$?

I called customer service this morning, they gave me more of a runaround than my dealer did. If they are so worried about vin and serial numbers then you can't tell me they don't know exactly where my sled is sitting right now. It should have been this is where it's at and when it will ship out. The story I got was just keep waiting it will get there when it gets there. What's the point of snow checking? They are selling showroom models at my dealer now in the exact sled I ordered. If you haven't gotten your sled yet call them and ask the question. I really don't think they see a problem with this.

I called this morning as well...spoke with 3 different people, last person I spoke with before my break was over... said he didn't think my xtx was made yet........ but did say once it's made it will be shipped........ wtf.... and he didn't know for sure since he was in California....I told him his phone dials out just as ez as mine..and I would call back in couple hours and I'm sick of hearing I don't know from everyone
just give me a f ing date or a full refund of my deposit

Dealer texted me a screen shot of the shipping dates for them. Mine was supposed to ship on the 15th and the last two on the 22nd. As of now none of the three are on trucks yet. I guess anyone who doesn't have their sled yet is just supposed to wait till Christmas.

Mine has said warehouse for two weeks now. Yamaha does not tie the spring buyers to a serial# None is known till sled actually is shipped even then the serial is not tied to the spring buyer. That is good as long as your dealer allots the first sleds to the first buyers as they should. Has anyone seen a RTX of any color yet? Cripes the cat guys are getting the 6000's by end of week. Thats about last sleds being built at AC. Where are our Vipers and why so late? We all do deserve a answer. If fixing something that would be understandable but silence is not.

After hearing this oil thing I'm not sure I want it anymore , set to pick up on sat but not sure now
