I have a 2015 Viper rtx se and am experiencing inside ski lift, I just put on Curve XS skis and they darted a little so I set the front shock to 45 psi (I weigh 130 dressed) I haven't changed any other suspension besides the front shocks

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

That is something that will be somewhat hard to cure on the Viper. Unfortunately the engine is mounted a little high and they tend to lift the inside ski a lot more than say the procross with the 1100 turbo in it. The Viper engine is just a bit higher and gives it a higher C of G and makes the sled more tippy.

To compensate you can lower front shocks, and suck the limiter strap up tigher, however too tight on the limiter makes it steer heavier and also limits front shock travel which effects the ride in an negative way.

There unfortunately is no free lunch here. You either go with a less aggressive front setup and dial in some controlled push, or you suck the front end down to try and make it handle. Aggressive skis and carbides will make it want to high side (inside ski lift) when they bite and grab.

The ski lift is more than likely happening because the curves actually bite rather than push out, and it also may be lifting the inside ski because of body roll from too soft of front shocks, when I put my curves on I found I needed a little more shock pressure to keep the front planted, but once it was set good it worked awesome!

Did you set the toe out on the skis that is huge

Should be good what shocks 3 or evo

What are u running in the rear??

I like to set toe to 1/2" out when running Curves and a single carbide setup. There are several Vipers out there running Curves with dual carbides to cure any darting issues.

I run1/2 out with a 6inch no problems Jakes mountain 1/2 out 4 inch both are spot on.

Sounds right to me what is your weight with gear

65 psi in front floats like MrSled said
Coupler on 2
Limiters 1 hole tighter

Or
Send your rear skid shocks to me for a revalve. I use modified Carver Valving and better wipers.
65 psi front floats
Coupler on 1
Limiter all the way out
