installed the new heat exchanger and polished half of the tunnel so far...install was pretty straight forward. You do have to cut both sides of the tunnel and drill holes for the rivets. I would have liked it to be at the back of the tunnel extension, but i just mounted it where the instructions said to. It looks a lot more impressive than that POS rear tube that was there!!

Too bad they don't fit the custom tunnel extensions. I wish someone would make one that would.

They fit fine, you just need to add a drop. I used 1/2" copper plumbing pipe, put a couple bends in it so that its the same width as the tunnel, and flatten the part past the bends then bolt to the side of the extension.
LB
The copper pipe will last for a little while until ice gets behind
it and you try and knock it off. Try using a piece of alluminum
flat bar works great. Canadian Tire 3/4" x 3' $7.00

Ice won't get behind it - heat exchanger makes hot all the time.

I have to admit that I don't watch that show.
Copper pipe is good stuff. Light weight and strong. Tubes are stronger than flat.
